Course Description: 
In this course, students will discover how living things are made of cells and how cells form body systems that work together to keep organisms alive. They will examine how traits are passed from parents to offspring and how certain traits and behaviors help organisms survive over many generations. Students will also use evidence to understand how organisms are related and how they have changed over Earth’s history. This is the second half of a two-part Seventh-Grade Science series. This course also encompasses Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
