AP World History: Modern, Part 2 explores world history from 1750 to the present. Topics include the Reformation and Enlightenment, European colonization in the Americas, empires, industrialization and global integration, nationalism, revolutions, imperialism, global change through World War I, World War II, the Cold War Era and post-Cold War world, global security, and other global challenges up to the present day. Students will practice writing essays and answering questions on topics related to world history. This is the second course in a two-part series that prepares students to take the AP World History: Modern exam.
